Hello, my name is Michael Kunman. I'm a qualified PGA Professional and the owner and Director of Instruction at Perth Golf Centre. 

As of 2022, I have 14 years of experience in the golfing industry. Starting my career at the incredible Burswood Park Golf Course, I then branched out to start my PGA Traineeship at The Links Kennedy Bay (Rated Number 4 in Australia). This is one of the top public golf courses in Australia and a must play for anyone wanting to test their skill on a genuine links style course (current under renovations and I'm looking forward to see the updated design). I completed a my Traineeship at The Western Australian Golf Club and have been the owner of Perth Golf Centre for 4 years.

 

I currently hold Advanced Status in Coaching with the PGA of Australia plus certifications in Trackman, Titleist Performance Institute Certified and Quintic Ball Roll.  I'm always seeking to expand my knowledge in golf, fitness and the mental processes that are such an integral part of our game.

I'm also fortunate to be a Callaway Icon and Brand Ambassador. I've been part of the Callaway Team for almost 5 years and their equipment, service and reputation is second to none. I look forward to continuing this relationship with Callaway into the future and am always excited to see their new products come into the golfing market. 

My teaching philosophy is to work within students abilities and design a plan to ensure they reach their golfing goals. This includes the technical aspect of the golf swing, plus mobility, equipment, course management and the mental aspect of golf.  Rather than just pursuing the task of having a perfect golf swing, I want to create an ongoing relationship and work together with you to reach your goals.

I'm currently available for in person lessons at my studio in Perth, Western Australia (Perth Golf Centre) and online for clients interstate and overseas. I use two different platforms with my online lessons including Skillest and Coach Now.
